At Unlimited Church, our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of our church family and visitors walking through our doors. We want to ensure that every person who enters our building feels safe, and this policy will aim to make sure they do so. Our policy has been written alongside guidance from the Church of England’s website.
Everyone has different conditions from which they judge whether they feel safe in different environments. This is why we ask that our congregation be mindful that some congregants would like to maintain socially distanced, and to retain wearing facemasks within the building. We will remain having hand-sanitiser at our exit points for visitors to use.
Our leadership team have decided that we will carry on practicing intinction (dipping the piece of bread/wafer into the communion cup) within communion, in order to keep the risk of transmission of COVID-19 as low as possible.
Additionally, we would ask everyone to use their personal judgement in order to choose to come into the building if they are feeling ill and/or showing symptoms of Coronavirus. We would like to encourage anyone who tests positive with Coronavirus and who had visited the building whilst infectious to get in contact with us, and email into email@example.com
